In the series of alternative services Refractories Services is equipped with a core drill with a complete series of drills in different diameters, to be used for different types of refractory materials.

The specific specialization allows Refractories Services personnel to drill holes in refractory linings, especially in “hot” conditions, intended as situations in which holes are made with the oven running.

In different situations, the equipment used allows to drill holes with cooling of the tip by water or compressed air in situations where the coating cannot be wetted.
